Y-PEER senior management and staff organized a farewell for Anders Thomsen, the outgoing Country Representative for United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Somalia. Anders has been leading the UNFPA for the last four years. During his tenure he supported tremendous project that aimed to improve and empower the young polpulation of Somalia.
Abdikadir Dooy, the Country Coordinator of Y-PEER Somalia commended the efforts of Andres and UNFPA team at large, and he mentions that UNFPA has been a key partner for Y-PEER for the last 10 years and we implemented many projects with the support of UNFPA.
Anders Thomsen appreciated the event and commended the young leaders of Somalia, and he encourged Y-PEER to continue serving and supporting the young people in Somalia.
